Episode Notes

A Memphis native, Dr. Gilbert was a Houston High School graduate before he received his undergraduate degree from Rhodes College and his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine. He completed residency and fellowship in Tuscaloosa, Alabama with the University of Alabama’s Family Medicine Residency and Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship programs. He is proficient in the evaluation and treatment of a variety of acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions in patients of all ages. He is also experienced in the management of a number of general medical conditions like sports-related concussions, exertional heat illness, and cardiac issues in the athletic population.
